Sarge
Sarge (born 1945) was in the Marine Corps from 1963 to 1967 and served in two wars. Wounded in Cuba and Vietnam. Was NCOIC of communications section (12 men) in Vietnam (all were WIA (9) or KIA (4) in mortar barrage on 1/6/67). We ran radio relays and went on S&D patrols and night ambushes (this is where I learned to be very patient) with the grunts.
Went to college in Arizona & Iowa, worked as in investigator with Iowa Bureau of Criminal Investigation, FBI, Postal Inspectors, and local law enforcement over the course of 13 years. Worked undercover on one job for 18 months and another one for 8 years. I got my law degree in 1986, worked with the Iowa Attorney General's Office in Criminal Appeals keeping the bad guys/gays in prison and then went into corporate law, contract law, commercial real estate, and investments for one of the largest companies in Iowa.
Married 31 years(she should be a saint, but she is an angel), two sons 40 & 38, three grandkids, 17, 11, and 8. Avid reader, build computers, spend a lot of time with family and friends.
